Welcome to Economics
Course Details
Why choose this course?
Economics is the study of money, business and the way in which governments, companies and people try to manage finances. Economics provides students with a fascinating insight into both Macroeconomics (the study of general economic factors such as interest rates and productivity) and Microeconomics (how single factors and individual decisions can affect the economy). This allows students to analyse and evaluate complex financial issues like the annual national budget or how an increasingly global marketplace is impacting upon both businesses and people throughout the world.
If you are fascinated by money, governments and how money influences power and the people throughout the world then Economics at A-Level is a great choice.
